Author’s Summary: Students are required to write to a pen pal in the spirit of ‘International Cooperation.’ New friendships and a new romance arise going into the fourth year at Hogwarts.
My Thoughts: I really like Letters. It’s a very solid Harry/Fleur romance, that is a lot of fun to read. As usual, The Endless 7’s characterization is the best thing about the story, and not only are Harry and Fleur excellent, rounded characters, but Daphne is incredibly fun to read as well. I’m also a big fan of how this story ends, as it’s ending is very ambiguous. In fact, the author chose to write two separate Epilogues to this story: one that stays Harry/Fleur, and one that changes into Harry/Daphne, and the reader gets to decide which ending they prefer. I think it is a testament to Endless 7’s talent that both of these Epilogues seem equally plausible. I’m a huge fan of this story, and I highly recommend giving it a shot. While it’s not this author’s best work, it’s still a very good time.
